Older Home Remodel
We began with windows and doors, then launched a plan to completely overhaul the house. Window Authority managed the whole project on budget. They handled the inevitable, unforeseeable issues of working on an older home in stride by bringing in the right skills to address the problems. We were very pleased with the attention to detail, maagement commitment to quality and service, and professionalism of the entire subcontractor team.
Beautiful Job- Well Done
From the grid design, color options, manufacturer selection, answering questions and the installation Window Authority did a great professional job. Mark was very observant about our likes and needs, offering great suggestions which turned into a beautiful set of windows on our home. His detailed bid and technical drawings make for great support for any homeowner's association approval needs. The installation team was knowledgeable, efficient, respectful of our home, clean and took pride in their work. I definitely recommend this firm and would use them again.
Fantastic Window Replacement Experience
After researching and visiting with many window companies I decided the window I wanted was MilGard. I decided on using The Window Authority to supply and install my Windows for several reasons. First, the owner, Mark, was very through explaining and demonstrating the product plus they had excellent prices and reviews. I learned that the Milgard window allows for custom sizing of the upper and lower sash which few other companies, if any, offer this option. Plus Milgard has a very slim profile compared to other manufactures windows. Most other companies window sections were thick and bulky thus making the actual glass area much smaller allowing less clear view area. The installation went very smoolhly and was a quality installation with difficult rough stone openings. If you want great windows and a great company to provide and install your windows you should call The Window Authority.
Great job, Window Authority!
The Owner & Manager, Mark Mauser, is very knowledgeable, professional, and a great guy to work with! We had no experience at all in remodeling windows and doors, and Mark walked us through with design styles, options, and the pros and cons of choices. For instances, the three windows at loft was converted to a bigger picture window, lending itself a fabulous view with the background trees. We simply love this kind of suggestion, and without Mark, it would not have been possible.... Most importantly, at the end, he ensured all the jobs are done right, to the greatest details! Highly recommending Window Authority!
New large picture window in 2nd floor brick wall
This was a complex job requiring temporary bracing to support the brick cut and use of a large steel beam. Most window companies refused to bid. Window Authority gave a fixed price and that was what I paid. Workmanship was excellent and always cleaned up every night. No damage to the remaining brick work. Excellent job and nice people to work with.

600 Sq. Ft Closed in w/Windows & Added Two Covers
Easy to work with. We had some ornamental materials we wanted specifically for the Covered Balconies they installed and they found just what we wanted. We love our 600 sq. ft. addition that was previously just a covered porch that was so hot we never used it much except in the Spring or late fall. Now we can enjoy it Year Around plus the covered and extended balconies were great to use during the early spring. Two other contractors, contracted directly to me, were used for the enclosed Outdoor Kitchen Equipment and for the AC/Heating. Window Authority was by FAR the BEST of them all and I would recommend Window Authority Any Time. And that is say a great deal as I am extremely particular.
Windows Worth the Wait
After Hurricane Harvey, I started calling about replacement windows in early September. I was stood up for appointments, some service providers never followed up with estimates, it was frustrating. When I finally met Mark, I instantly liked him, his pricing was pretty darn close to Window World (the least expensive bid I had received). I decided I wanted to use Mark Mauser because he had spent the time explaining the process thoroughly, offered a quality window made in Texas, and he answered all my follow up questions in a timely manner. The install crew was excellent, hard working and very conscientious. I have referred friends to Mark Mauser at the Window Authority, and they have been happy too!
Great Service
I am very impressed with the owner coming out to our home and going over our need for replacing all of our windows from Hurricane Harvey. I feel that he gave us options of new styles and explained the advantages of each. he did not just walk in and quote exactly what we have currently. But he also did not oversell and overcharge due to the hurricane. We changed 2 windows to complete different style and they look absolutely Beautiful. I am very please with them!
